Step-by-Step Guide: Mounting and De-Mounting Tires

Inspection and Preparation

Before beginning the tire-changing process:

  1. Inspect the Wheel: Check for any visible damage or wheel weights.
  2. Release Air Pressure: Remove the service cap and valve core to drain all air from the tire.

Breaking the Beads

  • Use the air-powered and hand-operated bead loosener, which provides a clear line of sight to the wheel and tire.

Securing the Wheel

  1. Place the wheel onto the pedestal, aligning the alignment pin with a lug hole.

    • Use the robo-arm and robo-roller helper to assist with maintaining the tire in the drop center.
  3. Repeat for the top bead, ensuring a smooth and secure fit.
